Shipping and Returns
CSDS ships products only within the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. CSDS has set up electronic interfaces with United Parcel Service (UPS) which enable us to estimate shipping charges based on the service level you choose, and we add these charges directly to your order. UPS offers the following service levels:
By default all items on your order will be shipped together, however items on your order may ship separately
- At your request
- To avoid unnecessary delay if a product is out of stock
- Where a product is shipped directly from a 3rd party supplier
A signature is required upon delivery as most of our shipments contain valuable equipment. Please note that we are not able to adjust the shipping address once a package has left the CSDS warehouse. Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for reshipment.
The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time and warehouse processing time - but does not include transit time.
Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin processing the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Orders for in-stock items that are eligible for same-day shipping must be received before your local time of 2:00 p.m., pending payment processing. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin processing the next business day. Unanticipated changes in supply can affect product availability.
Return and Refund Policy
All merchandise should be examined immediately upon receipt. In the event of damage, either outward or concealed, notify the carrier and file a report with them immediately and save all packaging. It is best to inspect shipments before the carrier leaves your premises. Written authorization must be obtained (via email: email@example.com ) for merchandise returns or exchanges. A handling charge will be made on all authorized returns or exchanges, except those due to our error. Special order merchandise will not be accepted for return or exchange. CSDS will credit the purchase price of all authorized returns to your credit card or CSDS Account, less a re-stocking fee, provided the following conditions are met:
- You return the product to CSDS, and we receive it, within 30 days after the date of product shipment.
- The product must be unused, undamaged, and in working order when received by CSDS.
- All original parts, components or accessories for the product must be included when returned to CSDS.
The re-stocking fee may be waived at CSDS's discretion where the
product is unopened and in the original packaging, if you notify CSDS of
these conditions prior to returning the product.
All product returns must use the procedures below. If you do not follow these procedures, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during its return to CSDS.
- Please use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns AND
- Insure your package for safe return to CSDS, or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit.
